JUNK REMOVAL TIPS

Our prices are COMPETITIVE yet FAIR. However junk removal can be expensive. That's why we encourage our customers to do their due diligence to reduce cost if possible. Below are tips you should consider:

The 1st thing you should do is PLAN AHEAD. Especially if you have a substantial amount of junk that may be of value. This gives you the opportunity to SELL/GIVEAWAY/DONATE your items before your junk removal date.

 

2nd. Make sure any items that are attached to your home (walls, ceilings, floors, doors, pipes etc.) are disassembled prior to our arrival. WE WILL NOT MAKE ANY ALTERATIONS TO YOUR HOME. There are some EXCEPTIONS which our FIELD REPS will be happy to explain.

 

3rd. Please ensure a HAZARD FREE WORK SPACE  for your removal to take place. We believe in being FAST & EFFICIENT but most importantly, CAREFUL! Clear a path to the entrances & exits IF POSSIBLE before our FIELD REPS arrive. Make sure you have the items you want removed IDENTIFIED & LOCATED. If you have any vehicles that may be obstructing our ability to load your items, please move them IF POSSIBLE. 

 

4th. Please secure ANY pets that could cause harm or make our FIELD REPS uncomfortable with performing their task. Not to mention the possibility of your pets escaping your home from doors being propped, or constantly opened due to the removal of your items. 

 

5th. There's absolutely NO NEED TO TOUCH OR MOVE YOUR ITEMS TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR US. Ultimately as the customer it's YOUR decision. However, because we're a "WHITE GLOVE" service we encourage our customers to sit back & let us do the work for you. Just POINT IT OUT & WE'LL GET IT OUT!

MOVING TIPS

1. Make sure PARKING PERMITS are obtained for BOTH locations if necessary! (Check with your City or Township)

 

2. Make sure to do an assessment of the destination. This information is important for our FIELD REPS to give you a proper estimate. The same information is passed on to the crew who will now be better prepared for your move. 

 

3. Prior to your move day make sure ALL of your small, loose items & electronics (ex. books, toys, laptops, speakers, shoes, cds, coffee makers, pots & pans) are packed away. They are prone to fly around the back of the truck & become damaged. As well as potentially causing damage to other items. WE DO NOT TAKE SMALL, LOOSE ITEMS FOR THIS REASON! However we will place them in your vehicle if needed.

 

4. Don't forget to MOVE YOUR VEHICLES out of the driveway or the path to the truck. As well as maintaining a clear path (removing snow/ice or anything that would hinder the crew from loading the truck).

 

5. Try your best to label your boxes & items with their destination (room) in your new home or business. We recommend labeling your items using stickers with multiple colors instead of a marker. This method is efficient for packing & the most effective for unloading.

 

6. Be sure to tell your FIELD REP ahead of time if you have EXTRA stops. WE WILL NOT CHARGE YOU EXTRA!!! Other moving companies are known to do so. However, we're charging you THE SAME HOURLY RATE that was given for your estimate. We understand that plans get altered & we want to accommodate you. THERE'S NO HIDDEN FEES WHATSOEVER!!!

 

 

DELIVERY & ASSEMBLY TIPS

IN STORE/ONLINE PURCHASES:

1. Get exact measurements of your item/s if possible.

 

2. The store you've purchased your item/s from should be alerted in advance. This saves us time at the store because your items will most likely be pulled & set aside for us to load. Provide us with a copy of your receipt as well to avoid any discrepancies.

 

3. Have a clear path ready for the crew to ensure a smooth delivery for your item's.

 

4. For all of our services you should pay attention to the weather forecast & try to plan around inclement weather if possible. We work in all weather conditions however you may want to take into consideration the potential for damage to your items or home. This holds true for ANY company you choose.

SOCIAL MEDIA & APP(BUY/SELL) PURCHASES:

1. FOLLOW STEPS 1, 3 & 4 ABOVE

2. Provide ALL CONTACT INFORMATION for everyone involved! (name, address & phone number)

​

3. Make sure that everyone is in sync with the pickup date & time to avoid discrepancies. 

​

ASSEMBLY:

1. Before your purchase, make sure your item/s will fit in the desired location.

​

2. Be sure to check for any damage to the packaging. There could be damage present to the merchandise as well as the potential for missing hardware!

3. FOR TV MOUNTING- You should ALWAYS check the SPECIFICATIONS for your TV in regards to what mount is best.
